Don’t you hate a standard/drab permanent fixture (like a firmly glued mirror)…

If you no longer appreciate your bathroom mirror, which is glued firmly and almost flush with the wall. Try my mother’s solution, because we encountered the same problem. We disguise this dull feature by hanging another well framed mirror from a knob and ribbon. This mirror will hang over the existing mirror, which is now surprisingly unoffensive and camouflaged. This is a faster more efficient design solution, rather than cracking, ripping, and demolishing the old mirror, only to discover some nasty damage underneath.
